Australian domestic market, as well as the export market. APP's business has been in operation for more than 15 years. In fact, APP is one of the pioneers in Australia for slow drying pet treats.

APP's facility is a purpose-built export manufacturing facility that specializes in dried pet treats. All raw materials sourced for manufacture are purchased from

government approved and licensed human consumption meat processing facilities. The Australian Quarantine and Inspection Service (AQIS) license APP's processing

factory for export to the U.S. and Europe, as well as all Asian countries.
APP manufactures a vast range of products utilizing slow drying techniques to ensure the highest quality. Their technology maintains that all the nutritious

qualities of the fresh meat and bone remain in the product. APP does not oven-cook their products at high temperatures that can cause splintering of

the bones. Nor do they add any artificial colors or additives to the products.

The raw material is prepared and cut to size prior to the drying process. Products are then placed on specialized mobile stainless steel racks and moved into drying rooms. The computerized dryers are programmed according to the particular product in the drying room. All products are processed and dried accordingly due to the variance in moisture content in each particular treat.

All products are subjected to a minimum heat treatment of 68 degrees Celsius for 30 hours. This process destroys all pathogenic organisms, including salmonella. APP's Quality Assurance team and trained staff monitors the drying process closely to ensure all products aren't cooked, but dehydrated to remove all moisture. As a result, APP's products leave the factory in conditions that are healthy, safe and appealing to your pet, not full of harmful ingredients like some commercially prepared pet foods.
